Goodbye Courtney

"Courtney Wait!!!" Duncan says as he runs to the end of the dock. As Courtney gets up Duncan pulls out a wooden skull out of his pocket and yells, "I made this for you!!!" He tosses the skull to her. "Duncan!" She says as she catches the skull she opens her hands up to see what he had given her, "Okay this is really werid and creepy but...I love it! I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU!!!" she yells to him as she waves goodbye to him as the boat slowly pulls her farther away until both fade into the distance.

On the boat Courtney sits down on the boat and stares at the skull that she got while reminiscing all the time they spent together and many times he flirted with her and she kept on canstantly saying no too to the point of their first and only kiss. She smiles and says to herself, "We'll get to see each other again right? I mean once this stupid show is on its finale we'll get to see each other on last time before we have to say our goodbyes and never see each other again." She laughs and cries a little at the same time as she feels Duncan wooden skull carving he gave her. But as she felt underneath the skull it felt different from everything else it felt slightly jagged. She flips it over to see what it is her eyes widen and she gasps at what's written underneath. She smiles and says, "Maybe we will get to be with each other forever." Because underneath engraved on the bottom of the skull was a phone number with the words Call me written on it. She smiles and looks back at the island one more time and whispers, "Duncan...I love you." and let's her words be carried in thw wind.

Back at the dock as soon as Duncan could no longer see Courtney he fell and sat down on the edge of the dock with his arms wrapped around his legs as he stares blankly out onto the open lake for hours on end. After about two hours had passed it was already 10:30 at night and Duncan heard footsteps coming towards him on the dock of shame. He looks and sees Bridgette coming and she says to him, "Mind if I join you?" Duncan nods his head and says, "Its a free country do whatever you feel like doing." She smiles and sits beside him. They stare for a few minutes when Duncan suddenly says, "She's...really gone isn't she?" Bridgette still staring out the lake says, "Yeah." Duncan laughs and says, "Its so hard to believe that I'd fall for someone like her. But I really couldn't care less I loved her she was the greatest she was perfect and I finally hook-up with her and somehow this happens...its just not fair." Bridgette smiles and says, "You'll see her again Duncan we all will I promise." Duncan smiles and says, "Thanks Bridgette."

As she hears this she sees a tear rolling down his face, "Hey are you crying." Duncan trying to be tough says, "Devils never cry." Bridgette smiles and says, "Your a devil huh? Never thought I'd heard of a devil that cries over the loss of something precious to them." Duncan smiles as he wipes away the tear and says, "I'll see her again the skull I gave has my phone number embedded on it so that way she can contact me after this is all over and I can see her again." Bridgette smiles and says, "That's good to know I'm sure she'll be waiting to be able to make that phone call." As Duncan looks up into the sky he sees a shooting star and says, "I don't beleive in making wishes but...I hope I get to see her again real soon." Bridgette gets up and says, "I'm heading back to the cabins its lonely sleeping alone now but guess I'll have to deal with it for now later Duncan." He waves and says, "Goodnight." And with that she heads off for bed.

It was midnight still sat in the same spot thinking about the whole voting ceremony and how it happened and as he thinks about it he feels a strange breeze come to him it felt warm and gentle and reminded him of Courtney and as the breeze finally passed all Duncan could say with a gentle smile on his face was, "Courtney...I love you too."
